- 500 grams beef tongue
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
- 1/3 grain nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
- 6 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 liter of water
How to make :
Enter the beef tongue in a pot of water to drown, then simmer about 30 minutes until the tongue becomes tender. Sliced rather thin, Stew gravy should not be discarded because it will be use for gravy stew.
Blend the spices such as garlic, pepper and nutmeg. Saute briefly with a little cooking oil until fragrant, combine soy sauce, sugar and salt.
Stir fry briefly the tongue that have been cut into thin with little cooking oil, then insert the tongue into the frying pan, add remaining 2 cup water and seasonings boiled tongue which had been sauteed. Add the tomatoes that have been cut thin transverse and simmer until the seasoning half of it. Remove from heat.
Tongue stew ready to serve while warm.
