Beef Satay



Ingredients :

  • 500 grams tenderloin, diced
  • 250 grams of beef liver, diced
  • 150 grams cabbage leaves, thinly sliced
  • some skewers

Marinade :
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 8 pieces red onion, chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 2 knuckles galangal, grated
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons baking papaya
  • 2 tablespoons margarine


Hot Soy Sauce :

  • 5 pieces onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic. chopped
  • 5 pieces red tomatoes, cut into small dice
  • 50 ml sweet sou sauce
  • 25 grams of peanuts, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

How to make :
Mix all the marinade and stir well.
Mix the meat and beef liver with marinade, let stand 2 hours.
Skewers of the meat and liver with a skewer.
Grilled over hot coals until cooked as the smeared the remaining marinade.
Serve with hot soy sauce and slices of cabbage leaves.
