Sambal Bajak

For most Indonesian people, including me. Eat without sauce something was missing. And of course we also will not get bored with the sauce. Because in our country there are different kinds and taste sauce.


Material :

  • 10 red chilies
  • 5-10 cayenne peper (optional)
  • 8 pieces red onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 pieces of hazelnut
  • 1 tsp sugar brown
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2-1 roasted shrimp paste
  • 200 g tomatoes
  • salt to taste (optional)
  • cooking oil

Additional Ingredients :
  • 3 lime leaves
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk

Method :

Steamed red chili, cayenne pepper, onion, garlic and tomatoes for about 5 minutes. After the steam ulek or puree with nutmeg, brown sugar, salt.Once everything is smhoty fry sauce ingredient. After half-baked
enter the lime leaves and coconut milk. Stir slowly until cooked, reemoved  and serve.
