Food that this one is one of the foods of Indonesia. Which consist of various vegetables, eggs, tofu, tempeh, and belinjo chips doused with peanut sauce. Gado-gado can be eaten just like that or use a rice cake.
Ingredients:
- 150 cabbage, boiled and 1/2 cooked
- 1 pieces tofu, fried and diced
- 50 grams of green beans, soaked in hot water
- 1 pieces tempeh, fried and diced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- Belinjo chips to taste
- Rice cake, cut into pieces
Peanut sauce :
- 300 grams of peanut, fried remove husk and mashed
- 500 ml coconut milk from old coconut
- 1 stalk lemon grass, crushed
- 3 kaffir lime leaves
- 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 6 teaspoon tomatoes sauce
- 3 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Spices :
- 2 pieces of red chili
- 6 pieces of red onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 cm kencur
- 1 teaspoon salt
Complementary :
- leaf lettuce
- tomatoes
- boiled egg
- fried onions, for sprinkling
How to make :
For the sauce
Heat oil, saute spices until fragrant. Spices mixed with coconut milk, lime leaves, tomato sauce, peanut and sugar. stir well and cook over medium heat until boiling and remove from heat.
Boil vegetable until 1/2 cooked and drain
Prepare a plate, place the rice vegetables, tofu, tempeh. Pour the peanut sauce on top, sprinkle with fried onion and eggs, lettuce, sliced tomato, chip belinjo and serve warm.
